Duplex Roller ShadesDuplex roller shades offer more flexibility in layering color into a room. Instead of having a single wide shade, the window may be broken up into two layers with variable width shades on each layer. Shades on one layer may move independently of the other. In the photo at right, the red shades may move up and down without affecting the grey and white shade positions or visa versa. Of course, two wide shades may be used with a sheer covering a blackout material. |

An arbitrary number of shades may be applied to each layer which will overlap very closely. An individual shade can not exceed 8½ feet wide. This shade system allows for a sheer panel and a black out panel to exist in the same installation. |
