Hand-Drawn Anti-ligature Drapery Track - AP 5001 SafeTrack
The AP 5001 SAFETRACK™ is a patented anti-ligature drapery track specifically engineered for psychiatric hospitals and other behavioral healthcare environments where patient safety is a critical consideration. The system is designed to detach under a predetermined load, helping reduce ligature-related risks.
The track releases from attachment points, including wall brackets and ceiling suspensions, with a 17 kg pull, while the gliders are designed to release with a pull force of 8 kg. SAFETRACK™ has undergone testing and certification in Europe for anti-ligature applications.
The AP 5001 SAFETRACK™ is produced from conventional, non-recycled aluminum alloy. A recycled-aluminum version is available upon request.

Fabric and drapery panel construction must be considered when discussing allowable weights.
NOTE: If track is bent or curved, the weight allowance is reduced 50%. Multiple tracks may be joined to mount wider installations.
